This piece was inspired by a photograph I took while painting on the Big Island in Hawaii. The day was warm and clear, these little java sparrows were fluttering around and making such pretty songs. I wanted to capture the movement these birds were making as they came in for supper! Note: A group of sparrows is called a "host" of sparrows.
